The Pre-Sessional English course is an intensive English programme designed to prepare international students who wish to study at undergraduate or postgraduate level in the UK after secondary school for academic life. The programme offers comprehensive training in key areas such as academic writing, academic reading, critical thinking, presentation techniques and adapting to university classes. Before starting university, students reach the level of academic English they need and gain the skills to settle into campus life. Its British Council-accredited structure, combined with one-to-one teacher support and assessments, ensures that students move on to university programmes in the UK with confidence.
Included in This Course
- 20 or 25 lessons of Pre-Sessional English per week (depending on programme type)
- Academic reading and text analysis work
