Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to the use of the website of City Nest Accommodation Ltd (“City Nest”, “we”) and to the accommodation, language school and visa consultancy services we provide. By using our services you accept these terms. 1. What we do

City Nest provides consultancy and booking services for accommodation, language schools, residential and summer schools and visa applications. School and accommodation services are provided by the school or accommodation provider concerned; their own terms also apply to those services and are sent to you with your quote.

2. Prices and quotes

Prices on the website are for information and are “from” prices; they may change with the season, room type, duration, exchange rate and provider updates. The binding price is the one in the written quote prepared for you, valid for the period stated in the quote. Any consultancy fee of ours is shown separately in the quote.

3. Booking and payment

A booking is confirmed once you accept the quote and pay the deposit stated in it. The payment schedule, amounts and payment method are set out in the quote. If a payment is not made on time, the provider may cancel the booking.

4. Cancellations, changes and refunds

Cancellation and change conditions follow the policy of the school or accommodation provider and are stated in your quote. Any amount refunded by the provider is passed on to you in full. Our consultancy fee is not refundable once the service has been provided. Your statutory rights under UK consumer law for contracts made at a distance are not affected.

5. Visa consultancy

We guide you in preparing the documents for your visa application, but only the authorities decide on visas and we cannot guarantee the outcome. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your application. If a visa is refused, refunds follow the policies of the school and accommodation provider.

6. Your responsibilities

You agree to give us and the providers accurate and complete information, to follow the rules of your accommodation and school, and to be responsible for any damage you cause during your stay. Deposits are handled under the provider’s terms.

7. Limitation of liability

The provider concerned is responsible for delivering school and accommodation services. Our liability is limited to carrying out our own consultancy service with reasonable care; liability that cannot be limited by law (such as death or personal injury caused by our negligence) is not affected.

8. Use of the website

We prepare the content of this website with care but cannot guarantee that it is always complete or up to date. Texts, images and logos on the website belong to City Nest or its licensors and may not be used without permission. How we process your personal data is explained in our Privacy and Cookie Policy.

9. Complaints

If you are unhappy with anything, write to hello@citynest.uk; we will reply to your complaint within 14 days at the latest.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. As a consumer, you keep any mandatory rights under the law of the country where you live.
